Pharmazone Launched an App in Two Weeks and Captured 70k Users with MobiLoud

In their 30+ years of operation, Kuwait-based pharmacy Pharmazone have had to constantly evolve, first when ecommerce became standard, and today to stay in front of mobile-first consumers.

Pharmazone operates 65 retail locations in Kuwait, and having been in business since 1992, they’ve seen the retail landscape change several times.

“Everything was moving online in 2016. Post-Covid, everyone realized how important it was to have a pharmacy just a phone call away. The same way we saw a shift to online eight years or nine years ago, there's a huge shift to strictly mobile devices.”

They successfully adapted earlier to build a strong online presence alongside their physical stores. The challenge was to do the same again, and build a mobile-first platform for a new generation of customers.

“No one really believed that we were going to have an app in like a month with the setup that we had to do initially. But within two weeks, it was done.”
