In this article, we'll give you a brief overview of JMango360, how it works, and its pros and cons. If you want to learn more about the best options available to help you turn your store into an app, read on.
What is JMango360?
JMango360 is a well-established app builder that has pivoted hard toward the eCommerce market in recent years.
They have mobile app platforms for a variety of eCommerce CMSes, including Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, Prestashop, and others. In each case JMango3600 has developed plugins and integrations with these platforms which allow you to build apps on their platform.
You design your apps with a drag and drop interface called the JMango360 Backoffice, then hook them up with your web store.
Now let's take a look at JMango360's pricing.
JMango360 Pricing
JMango360 has three pricing tiers.
- Essential: starting from $299/month
- Advanced: starting from $649/month
- Enterprise: custom
The Essential plan includes basic features such as manual push notifications, base onboarding support, and online/chat customer support.
If you need more advanced features like Firebase analytics, back-in-stock notifications, customer success manager, and custom development, you can upgrade to the Advanced plan.
You can also request a custom development with white-glove onboarding, deep linking, advanced app analytics, and push notifications, by opting into an Enterprise plan.
JMango360 Pros & Cons
JMango360 has a good reputation and a well-built product. The pricing is middle of the range, appropriate to most eCommerce stores with some degree of success.
Like any app builder though, it will always be somewhat limited. The reliance on templates and APIs means you will never be able to exactly replicate your web store, since their pre-built integrations and features will only ever be a small slice of what's available on the web's rich ecosystem.
For a simple eCommerce app as a bolt-on channel it will work well, but to really recreate your web store - with all its features - you'll need a more flexible solution like MobiLoud.
The Best JMango360 Alternatives
Now you've got all the key beats about JMango360, it's time to move on and start looking at some JMango360 alternatives, starting with our own site-to-app platform, MobiLoud.
#1: MobiLoud
MobiLoud is our solution to help businesses turn their website into mobile apps, trusted by more than 2,000 businesses to build the perfect mobile app.
MobiLoud works with any CMS or tech stack, including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and any other eCommerce platform.
It lets you reuse every plugin, feature and functionality from your website in the app. We actually convert your store into an app, instead of rebuilding it as a lot of app builders do.
That means a faster and easier path to launch. Better yet, it means you lose any key parts of your website in the conversion process, and you get an app that works as well or better than your website.
On top of all that, we provide full service for every user. We're not just an app builder, we're an app development partner for your business.
We do all the heavy lifting to build, test and publish your apps, including handling the app store submission process (and guaranteeing approval).
We also handle updates and maintenance after launch, making sure you never get weighed down with the extra work that often comes with launching an app.
MobiLoud is more flexible, less limiting and comes with a higher level of service than any app builder on the market, making it the best way for serious eCommerce stores to launch their own app.
MobiLoud Pricing
We have three standard pricing tiers:
- Startup - For fast launching and validation: $199 per month
- Growth - Perfect for more established businesses: $549 per month
- Corporate - For larger companies with custom requirements: $999 per month
(plans are cheaper on an annual subscription, and we offer a 60-day money back guarantee if you're not satisfied with your apps)
We can also offer custom plans with special pricing and features for more demanding projects.

The Difference Between MobiLoud and JMango360
MobiLoud is more flexible than JMango360, with fewer limits, allowing you to build a user experience closer to what users get on your website.
Solutions like JMango360 for you to rebuild your website as an app, with limits on what you can do based on the capability of the platform, and of your eCommerce platform's API.
Though it's more customizable than most other app builders, JMango360 still won't let you fully recreate your website in the app.
You risk offering an inconsistent user experience between website and app, and potentially a worse experience in-app, which should be a deal-breaker - as it was for Rainbow Shops:
“The app needs to be at least as functional as the website. It doesn’t need to be better than the website, but the user experience can’t be worse.”
MobiLoud works differently, not rebuilding your site as an app, but actually converting it, to provide your existing web experience in the app, plus small touches that deliver a true native app experience.
This is vital, as it lets you use all the plugins, apps, integrations, custom features and small tweaks from your website that you rely on for conversions.
MobiLoud is a little more expensive up-front with the setup fee charged on our plans, but you get a much higher level of hands-on service for what you pay.
After that, it works out cheaper long-term, and you still get more for your money.

#2: Mowico
Mowico is another drag-and-drop, block-based, no-code app builder aimed at eCommerce brands. It's compatible with Shopify and WooCommerce, and will soon pair up with PrestaShop, BigCommerce & Wix.
Mowico offers integrations like Smile, Langify, and Judge.me, plus pre-set features like push notifications and AR shopping.
Mowico has its limits, though. It's a template-based app builder that can create a basic eCommerce app with your products and logo but can't fully replicate your web store's advanced features, design, and plugins.
When they say they "integrate" with Shopify, this doesn't mean they recreate your Shopify store - rather that they can just pull some relevant data from it. At the end of the day you're still stuck with their pre-built integrations, which is highly restrictive compared to the web and MobiLoud.
Mowico Pricing
Mowico has three plans for each eCommerce platform. For Shopify, they have:
- Startup - basic features - $79/month
- Growth - everything from Startup plus enhanced features - $399/month
- Enterprise - premium features, custom feature integrations, and tailor-made development - custom
The pricing may vary for each eCommerce platform but keep in mind that, the more costly the plan is, the greater benefits you get.
#3: Tapcart
Tapcart is a user-friendly app builder focused on Shopify, enabling businesses to create and launch their own mobile apps.
It simplifies the process by eliminating the need for coding or technical expertise. Small and medium-sized eCommerce businesses find it useful for enhancing their mobile presence.
Tapcart Pricing
Tapcart has three plans:
- Core - 15 blocks, basic features, and basic integrations - $200/month
- Ultimate - unlimited blocks, advanced features, and integrations - $400/month
- Enterprise - unlimited custom blocks, dedicated customer success manager, and premium integrations - $1K/month
The more costly the plan is, the better app features and benefits you get.
#4: Vajro
Vajro is a drag-and-drop app builder centered around Shopify, known for its budget-friendly pricing and emphasis on simpler eCommerce apps.
Using templates and drag-and-drop widgets, they create branded apps connected to Shopify through API. The platform integrates well with Firebase, Tidio, Klarna, and others. However, users should note that despite user-friendliness, Vajro's reliance on templates and pre-built widgets may restrict the exact replication of web stores, even on more expensive plans.
Vajro Pricing
Vajro has four plans:
- Starter - basic features and integrations - $99/month
- Core - advanced features and integrations - $249/month
- Premium - premium features and integrations - $499/month
- Plus - premium features, integrations, and priority support - $999/month
#5: Shopney
Shopney is a straightforward, drag-and-drop app builder for Shopify eCommerce stores, known for its robust features, themes, and integrations.
If a simple app mirroring your site's product catalogue is your requirement, Shopney could be a good choice. However, its template-based approach prevents it from fully transforming your site into iOS and Android apps or using all your existing plugins, themes, and features.
This will prove restrictive for businesses with complex and unique models, compelling your store to align with their set templates.
Shopney Pricing
Shopney has four plans:
- Silver - basic features with flexible design - $99/month
- Gold - basic features with flexible design with 20 elements - $199/month
- Platinum - advanced features and unlimited design elements - $499/month
- Enterprise - premium features and functionalities and a dedicated success manager - starting from $999/month
Why MobiLoud is Different to Most App Builders
While JMango360 is a more sophisticated app builder than a lot of other app builders on the market, it still shares the same common flaw that other tools do.
These tools require you to rebuild your site as an app, within the confines of the app builder.
That often means giving up apps, plugins and integrations you rely on, because the app builder doesn't provide their own integration for it.
These tools also rely on eCommerce platform APIs to pull product information into the app, which further limits what's possible.
David from Rainbow Shops found this to be a major stumbling point when building their app.
“The hybrid solutions on top of Shopify are just too limited. The Shopify API only enables certain things and all the major providers of hybrid apps for Shopify had limitations that the Shopify API would not let them get around.”
If you've done any custom work to build a great customer experience, you'll lose all that work if you build your app with an app builder like JMango360. Rainbow Shops is the perfect example.
Rainbow had a custom sort order that boosted conversion rates by 15%. With the API-based app builder they were using, they weren't able to bring that same sort order into the app.
With the limited options possible with the Shopify API, they could only provide a very basic in-app experience, which resulted in lost revenue and customer trust.
MobiLoud doesn't use blocks, templates, integrations or platform APIs. It fully converts your site into an app, with all features, UI, custom code and more synced between the two platforms.
Coupled with the white-glove service we provide every user, there's no better way to build an eCommerce app, and provide the closest thing to a native app experience without spending hundreds of thousands on a custom app, than with MobiLoud.
