How long does it take for you to submit my app?

From the moment you sign up and provide the necessary information, we typically take 5–10 business days to prepare and deliver the first version of your app for review.

The full process to get your app live generally takes around 4 weeks. This timeline includes key steps like making design adjustments, preparing app store graphics, testing, and incorporating your feedback to ensure everything is ready for submission.

Your involvement is critical during this process. You’ll need to review and approve your app, sign up for required developer accounts, and provide feedback on test builds.

Once the app is submitted, Apple and Google’s review process can take anywhere from 7–10 days, depending on feedback or changes requested by the app stores’ QA teams.

To ensure a successful launch, it’s a good idea to prepare marketing activities and materials ahead of time. However, we recommend scheduling these activities only after your app has been officially approved by Apple and Google.

Do you guarantee my app will be approved?

We cannot guarantee that your app will be approved, but we have a strong track record of getting apps approved across both Apple and Google’s app stores. While it may take multiple submissions, we are confident in our ability to eventually get your app approved.

If your app is rejected and after multiple attempts cannot be approved due to a technical issue specific to the MobiLoud platform (i.e. factors we control), we will refund any subscription fees (monthly or annual) paid, excluding the setup fees, which are always non-refundable. Please note, this refund policy does not apply if your app is rejected due to issues related to your website’s functionality, design, business model, or if your app does not meet Apple or Google’s store guidelines. For example, certain business activities or app types may not be allowed on the platforms, and these factors fall outside of our responsibility.

You pay a recurring monthly or annual fee because MobiLoud is more than just a one-time service.

The fee covers the ongoing license for our platform and ensures continuous support from our team.

We keep your app updated, optimized, and ready to perform at its best, while also handling all technical aspects like updates, app changes, and ensuring compliance with app store requirements.

Can I cancel anytime? If I stop paying does my app get taken off the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, if you're not on a contract, you can cancel anytime with a 30-day cancellation notice.

At the end of your paid subscription period, you will close your account, delete the app, and ensure the app is removed from the App Store and Google Play, or replaced by one from another vendor.

We don't offer partial refunds. Once fees are paid, they will cover the full period without exceptions.

What are active users? Why do I pay more when my app gets more users?

Active users are the number of people who download and use your app within a 30-day period. You can track this easily using tools like Google Firebase or Google Analytics.

We charge based on active users for two key reasons. First, it ensures our business model is aligned with your success. As your app grows, our pricing scales with it, meaning we're invested in helping you increase engagement and revenue. We provide ongoing support to help you make the most of tools like push notifications and work with you on strategies to grow your app’s impact.

Second, more active users create higher demands on our systems and support. As your app becomes more popular, it requires additional resources, technical assistance, and system capacity. By charging proportionally, we can ensure that we’re able to maintain a high level of service and support as your app scales, even if you reach millions of users.

Why do I have to start paying monthly fees right from the beginning?

Fees start from sign-up because you get immediate access to our platform and team.

The fees cover the costs of building, testing, and launching your app, ensuring a smooth process.

This is necessary regardless of whether the app is approved or rejected by the app store, as those factors are beyond our control.

We will continue working with you until your app is approved, and we have a 100% success rate in getting apps approved.

Do we need to register for Apple and Google Developer accounts?

Yes, you need to register as a business for both Apple and Google developer accounts. This is so you're fully in control of your mobile app and you own the relationship with both Google and Apple.

To register, your business will need a D-U-N-S Number. This is a unique nine-digit identifier assigned to businesses by Dun & Bradstreet, used worldwide to verify a company’s legal status and identity. Both Apple and Google use this number to ensure that your business is legitimate.

Once you have the D-U-N-S Number, you can proceed with registering for both the Apple Developer Program, which costs $99 USD per year, and the Google Play Developer Program, which has a one-time registration fee of $25.

We encourage you to initiate the registration process with Apple and Google right after signing up with us, to avoid any hold-ups later. By the time we have completed work on your app, your accounts should be ready to go.

• Startup Plan - Up to 1,000 active users, with an additional $30 per month for each extra 1,000 users.

• Growth Plan - Up to 5,000 active users, with an additional $40 per month for each extra 1,000 users.

• Corporate Plan - Up to 10,000 active users, with an additional $50 per month for each extra 1,000 users.

We update your plan every 90 days, based on the average number of active users over the previous 90 days. Temporary peaks in user levels due to seasonality or launches won’t impact your subscription.

However, all payments made up to that point are final, as they cover the work and ongoing support provided by our team. What does the Klaviyo integration include?

With our Klaviyo integration, we set up automated push notification flows directly in your Klaviyo account. This includes key automations like:

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card payments for all plans. If you’re on a Corporate plan, we also offer the option to pay via bank transfer or invoice.

For most customers, credit card payments are the fastest and easiest way to get started. If you require bank payments and are on a qualifying plan, let us know, and we’ll set it up for you.

Can we make the app experience different from the website?

Yes, you can make app-specific changes while keeping your website as the foundation. MobiLoud provides several ways to customize your app experience:

App-exclusive products and discounts for Shopify – If you're using Shopify, you can set up app-only products and app-exclusive discounts, encouraging more users to shop through the app.
Custom CSS for app-specific design – You can apply CSS to hide or modify elements specifically for the app, ensuring a cleaner, more mobile-friendly experience.
Show or hide content dynamically – Using JavaScript or our built-in tools, you can detect when users are in the app and adjust content accordingly.

If you need help setting up app-specific features, our team can assist or provide guidance based on best practices.

Do I fully own my app, or is it tied to MobiLoud?

Yes, you fully own and control your app. MobiLoud provides the technology and service to launch and maintain your app, but you are not locked into our platform.

The app is published under your own Apple and Google developer accounts, not ours.
You control all connected services, including Google Analytics, OneSignal, Firebase, Klaviyo, and your website’s CMS and database. All your data stays with you.
If you ever want to switch providers or build your own app from scratch, you can replace your MobiLoud app at any time with something else.

The only thing you don’t own is the source code of the MobiLoud platform, as that is our intellectual property. However, if you need access to the source code to modify it, maintain the app yourself, or keep a backup, we offer an add-on for $450/month, which provides ongoing access to the latest versions of our platform.
